DESCRIPTION
A lot of buyers ask us what the primary differences are between NATO and Zulu straps, essentially, the main differences lie in the the buckles and keepers; Zulu straps have much rounder and thicker buckles, whereas the NATO has thinner and more rectangular buckles. The other significant difference is that the nylon is thicker on a Zulu strap (although there are some heavy weight NATO straps, which are very similar in terms of thickness) the other difference is that NATO straps have an additional strap that slides through 2 buckles, this means that you end up with two layers of nylon under the watch, instead of one with a Zulu.
These watch straps are perfect for all extreme activities. In the past we have supplied them to military units, police and emergency services, exploration, Search and Rescue, oil and gas companies, marine salvage and frequently companies operating in tropical or desert locations: the straps are ideally suited for all these applications by virtue of the fact they can be easily washed, and they will dry in minutes. These bands are suitable for watches made by all leading military contractors as well as robust civilian brands.
